We went to Oahu for 7 days after a cruise around the Island. I enjoyed the Island. What I loved most of course was the beach even though my six year old old most died when a little girl fell into a water hole and grabbed him around the neck in the death grip. Lucky I was watching close and ran and got them both. What we enjoyed the most was the Polynesian Cultural Center. I felt like I got alittle taste of all of Polynesian Island by visting the center. I think the Polynesian Cultual Center is a full day trip and stay for the dinner show at night! Fire twirling and dancing and all. I saw it the dinner show was included with a three day and up pass. We saw a native of one of the islands climb up a palm tree with his barefeet. Talk about dedicated employees! I just smiled and smiled the whole day there. Everyone was so happy to talk about their island and entertain us. I also enjoyed the japanese gardens but they were small. Alot of things are small on the Island but very pleasant way to spend a hour or two. The day we left we went to the Dole Plantation and spent a hour or so looking at the pineapple fields. We went to the aquarium which was small as was the zoo. But it was interesting and pleasant way to spend the day. We visited Pearl Harbor and my husband loved it. I think it was interesting and moving the little I remember.... I loved visiting the jungle I think I was in a beatiful rain forest area. Not a boring trip at all.
