Lydias Uniforms- For over 40 years and three generations (all started by Grandma Lydia) we've been dedicated to getting you the latest, in-style scrubs and medical uniforms at the best value. In 1971 our privately held family company opened its doors with two medical retail locations in Grand Rapids.

Seeing the potential for corporate wear and hospitality apparel, we started another division in 1988 called the Uniform Warehouse. 1990 was a big year for Professional Uniforms when we decided to enter the catalog aspect of the uniform business. The first catalog focused on medical and hospitality uniforms and only targeted MI and IN. It wasn’t until 1993 that separate medical and hospitality catalogs were mailed on a national level. The company was steadily growing and by 1997 the number of employees exceeded 50 and the distribution of catalogs hit 4 million.

Today the Professional Uniforms headquarters is located in Grand Rapids, MI in a 100,000 square foot building. Over 140 dedicated staff members including customer service reps, designers, seamstresses, buyers, website gurus, warehouse personnel and more are all focused on getting your order.
