Could you pass the test that (legal) immigrants take to become a United States citizen? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13442226/ Just for fun, ladies! I got 100%! Yikes! Honestly, I guessed on one of the questions, but most of them I really knew.
Ugh, I got seven wrong!!! 65%!! I 'may' make a good citizen yet, it said, LOL! History and government is so not my thing....
I got a 75%...I got #8,9,10,16, and 19 wrong I'm embarrassed about #9 and #10 though. I was very close though.
80% here. It didn't hurt that I have just finished biographies of Abigail Adams and Martha Washington, so that has been a good review of early American history for me.
I got 45%. Can you tell history was not my subject? 45-60%: Not too bad, but you really need to break out the civics books again -- word is, the INS is looking for an 80 percent score.
uh oh, i got 60%. That is better than i thought i would do though. Government was not my subject in school!
I almost didn't take this because I thought I'd do badly but I got a 95%!!! I missed #19, which relates to naturalizations forms, so I'm not too upset.
Pam - which biography of Abigail Adams did you read? (I got 85%)
I got 45%
Ginny, It was called "Dearest Friend." You would really like Abigail---she was quite a little feminist! She and John also had a passionate 54 year marriage. The letters that they wrote to each other were surprisingly hot! Who knew? LOL
80% here...
Pam, I love that book. I've read it three or four times over the years, and now that you remind me, I'll look for it at the library next time I'm there.
If you go to the bottom of the page, there is a link to a video. They tried to get people on the streets to sing the national anthem.
O.K. I bet I did the worst out of anyone on here! I am embarrassed to say that I got 35%! I guess history was not my strong subject!
I got the naturalization form question wrong, too, but that was it. This was a bit tricky, but like anything else if you want it badly enough, you'll learn the material. Ame
