Dorel Juvenile Group (Canada) - Public Notice
MONTREAL, April 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Dorel Canada and Transport Canada issue
the following public notice regarding the harness system on Designer 22 and
Arriva Infant Carriers.
These infant carriers were produced between January 1, 2004 and November
1, 2004.
The Designer 22 model numbers are:
Eddie Bauer 22H65MAC
Safety 1st 22H32CRB; 22H32MTQ; 22H32VIN and 22H32CMB
Cosco 22H32CJOS
The Arriva model numbers are:
22H09PAW; 22H09THE; 22H51THE.
The model number can be found on a label located on the back/side of the
infant carrier.
An investigation found the harness straps could loosen if not properly
adjusted by the caregiver.
The affected units are in compliance with CMVSS 213.1 and no injuries
have been reported. Consumers can obtain a free repair kit by contacting Dorel
Canada Consumer Relations at (800) 881-0570.
