Money order question
I know someone that is riding in the Tour de Cure and I’m sending in a donation for this cause. I don't currently have a checking account, so I contacted the person to ask if I could send in a money order and he say I can. He told me to just make it out to the American Diabetes Association. But are you supposed to put an address on money orders or just who it’s to (American Diabetes Association) and from? I can’t remember, it’s been awhile since I used a money order.
Ask the place where you purchase the money order.
I know the last money order that I got had a space for the address of the person you were sending it to. I am not sure if they all do though??
Most money orders when they ask for address, it usually say senders address and that will be yours. If it was the person address your sending it to then it have a line that says recipients address but I've only seen money orders form the post office that ask this. Usually ones form liquors and grocery stores and other places you can buy them just ask for your address.
