Graduation Idea Help
As many of you may know I was a Nanny for 10 years for one family. The oldest of three children was 2 when I started working for them and 12 when I left. I'm still very close to the family. The oldest is graduating from HS next month and I wanted to do something special for him with some of the pictures I have from over the years. I don't want to just give them to him...what would an 18 year old boy do with the pictures? I was wondering if any of you had some ideas??? I have about 50 or so pictures and I know I have even more somewhere.
I think a collage would be great - or a scrapbook.
Reminds me of an article that I recently read in one of the women's magazines. It said the person (giving the gift) was a scrapbook queen and her friend didn't get it. When her friend's son graduated, she made the son a scrapbook of his life up to that point. It was his favorite graduation gift because it highlighted all the special things that happened over the years. He treasured it more than anything else he received.
I was thinking of a scrapbook but I was also thinking of doing a picture movie set to music. Do any of you know of a free site where you can make one of these movies. I used Muvee.com before but to use it this time I would have to buy it for $80!
My friend, Jill, just ordered a Kodak picture book online and it is beautiful! Then, you don't have to take the time to scrapbook, but you could still add in your comments.... I like Photoshow. Have fun! And wow, do you feel old?? ;)
