to an American Idol theme.
We already sent out the invites that have flowers on them, but that's no big deal. I also already bought the foam sunglasses for them do decorate, but those can now be their "superstar sunglasses".
I'm going to make the hearth by our fireplace the "stage" and put an American Idol Logo above the stage. I guess I will make or find a microphone (or just use a hair brush). The girls can pick songs to sing or lip sync and dance to. A few adults can be the "judges". I'm not going to make it a serious competition or anything. I might tell them to be as goofy, off key, and silly as they want to be.

I'm also thinking about putting the hollywood stars on the floor in the family room with each girl's name on it.

I think the American Idol finale will be a few days before the party, so maybe I will tape that and let them watch it.

Any other suggestions or ideas?

I think that sounds like fun!!!! Great idea about taping the finale too. No suggestions, but I think that will be a lot of fun for them.
