What's on your playlist?
I was thinking about this while running today. What I consider to be my good workout songs would probably surprise some of my friends, but not the people that *really* know me, LOL. I thought it would be interesting to see what you all have. So what's on your playlist? (I'm also a little brain dead today and need some conversation!!LOL) Here are some of mine: I'm Gonna Split This Room in Half -Uncle Kracker Click Click Boom - Siliva Sexy Back-J Timberlake Welcome to the Jungle- Guns 'n Roses Bawitdaba -Kid Rock Hollaback Girl -Gwen Stefani (MY FAVE!!!) My Humps - Black Eyed Peas Love Rollercoaster - Chili Peppers Without Me - Eminem Other Side-Aerosmith Cowboy - Kid Rock Hot in Here - Nelly Keep on Dancin' - No Doubt Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith Boogie Shoes - KC and the Sunshine Band Elevation - U2 Get Ur Freak On - Missy Elliot Where's Your Head At - Basement Jaxx Business - Eminem Hey Baby - No Doubt Music - Madonna Grease Megamix Driver's Seat - Sniff 'n Tears YMCA-Village People You Sexy Thang -Hot Chocolate Sweet Home Alabama Many more, but those are a lot of my workout tunes. Then I go into slower stuff for when I'm scrapbooking or cooling down from a workout.
When I have iTunes going, on my computer, I like listening to the soundtrack from the play Sarah did, Crazy for You, the soundtrack from Cars, Beethoven's 6th and 8th Symphonies (that wasn't cheap, either!), Some oboe music I just got, that's kind of modern, and some Boston Pops/US Marine Band/Sousa music, since I'm just a band geek at heart! I have very eclectic tastes in music. I also like a little John Denver thrown in, now and then!
It looks like we have some of the same songs on our workout playlists. I also have: Promiscuous-Nelly Furtado Give It to Me-Timbaland feat. Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado Hips Don't Lie-Shakira Makes Me Wonder-Maroon5 Hook-Blues Traveler U and Ur Hand-Pink Never Again-Kelly Clarkson Bootylicious-Beyonce Before He Cheats-Carrie Underwood Switch-Will Smith What's My Age Again-Blink152 Hey Ya-Black Eyed Peas Give It Away-Red Hot Chili Peppers 1985-Bowling For Soup
Well first off I only listen to my ipod (my cute little shuffle) about once every 4 weeks. typically while I warm up for tennis, or during my 10 minutes split break rest. I have a huge mix, because I never know what mood I need to be in. I have mostly Christian songs, He Reigns, word of God speak, i can only imagine(mercy me), cartoons (chris rice), clumsy, held (natalie grant). But I also have some 80's greats...back when I used to be good at tennis..LOL Bon Jovi, wanted dead or alive, living on a prayer, i would die for you. guns and roses, it's so easy, welcome to the jungle, pour some sugar on me. billy idol, white wedding And then just for variety there is a little dixie chicks. As you can see, I have to sort by genre and then I don't shuffle..LOL
