I'm hanging in there. He's picking up our three younger kids tomorrow at 11:00. Older dd doesn't want to go with them, so she and I are going antiquing for a stained glass window to put into a space between my kitchen and livingroom.

He told me he would give me $ on Sat. Let's see how much he gives me. In the past month he has given me $400. Yep, the amount I stated is correct!

The girls want him to take them to the mall to buy me a top for my birthday, which is Monday. That should be interesting.

If it makes you feel any better, my sister's ex does most of his work under the table so he is only required to pay her $27/month and she can't cash the cheques because they bounce!

Paula, I don't know about Canada, but I know in the U.S. repeatedly writing bad checks is a criminal offense. If it is also a criminal offense in Canada, she could take several of the bounced checks to the prosecutor and file a complaint.

Well I have a feeling the will be in shock when they start taking your money out of his check because it will be a LOT more than 400 a month. I get 500 and I only have 2 kids, plus my ex cheats the system about how much money he makes because he gets his raises in bonus percetages and things like that instead of a normal raise.

You might be surprised. He might actually agree to buy you a present thinking it will make you feel bad for things I know my ex does things like that sometimes.
