Our house...
Our first showing is tomorrow... I worked really hard on the kitchen. The brown walls used to be an ugly mustard yellow and icky green. I painted them 2 years ago when we moved in. And, in case you guys remember my bedding purchase I got on sale at Macy's, here it is! LOL It's larger than most houses and I decluttered and cleaned for a whole month! (I miss all my Christmas letters being on the kitchen fridge, but it does look better.) Click Here
What a beautiful home. Are yall going to sell it ? Do you ever get scared at night? I'm a big "fraidy cat !"
Yes, it's on the market...not sure why you would ask that???
Is there a jut out at the back, Heidi? In the one picture it looked like there might be but I couldn't tell if that's what it was or another house in the back. Your home looks beautiful btw!
Your home is beautiful.
Heidi, your house is lovely! I really like the color of your kitchen. Everything looks neat and clutter free. And the bedroom bedding is awesome! Good luck tomorrow!
This house is gonna' sell quick. It is a great home. Good Luck
Paulas, yes, there's a bumpout on the main level and the upstairs level. Thanks, guys...boy, ya'll were up late! I was up late, in bed. We just had new neighbors move in and they are LOUD. I heard loud music until midnight and I kept having to bang on the wall. I'm SO glad I'm moving. Housing costs an arm and a leg out here! (You'd be surprised at how much it is listing for. It went up 50,000 in 2 years. CRAZY! To be honest, *I* wouldn't pay that much for a townhome but it's cheap compared to D.C. and people commute.) I can't wait to have a HOME again! Pray for jobs in Colorado!! LOL! Oh, and BTW, I am NOT an interior decorator. As you can tell, there's hardly anything on the walls. I'm horrible at that stuff.
It's a really nice house, Heidi. I'm sure it will sell quickly, especially since you are in commuting distance to DC. It really doesn't look like an attatched, townhome. You did a great job getting it ready. Good luck. Ame
Heidi, I'm not only going to pray for jobs in CO, I'm going to be selfish and pray for one close to ME!!! You're house looks great and I have no doubt it will sell. The housing market in your area is crazy. Keep us updated!
The place looks great. Hints for when you show it. Have a pie pan with water, cinnamon and cloves in the oven on low. Makes the house smell so good. Don't use other fresheners. Too much turns folks off. Polish all mirrors and shiny surfaces. Keep Windex wipes ready. Light candles and turn on lights in every room but not too bright. Open drapes. No mood music. Best of luck.
Looks "designed to sell". It should not be on the market long. Good luck!
Best of luck... I think it looks great.
It is a beautiful home Heidi! I am betting it will sell quickly too. Good Luck!
It looks show ready
Compared to many houses I have seen that were up for sale, yours looks fabulous!
How did your first showing go? What did you decide for scent? We did the Gramma's kitchen candle-it smells like baked cookies.I did the samething and decluttered, left all the draperies open and turned on all of the lights.I was thankful that it took only 4 days to sell.I was tired of running around behind my dd and dh making sure everything was spotless for the unexpected potential buyer lol I hope it went well
Wow Heidi, that is the biggest townhouse I have ever seen! It's just beautiful! I don't think you will have a problem selling it, and it looks so spotless and clean. I wish you the very best.
Thanks, Sandy! TM, the first showing went well! The online feedback was great and we're waiting to hear back on an offer. I'm not getting my hopes high and we are still early in the game, so I'm just trying to keep the house clean as much as possible! It's hard to do when I've got a Tazmanian running behind me all the time! Although, he's been getting better about cleaning before we go anywhere. I'm just so tired all the time. My back is killing me so dishes seem like another daunting task.
