Some are just more dramatic than others, and you don't always get to write the script.

I don't know why, but that analogy just came to me. I was thinking about all the different people I have met in my life.

Ideally, we are in control of our own destiny. At least that is what I believe. Our choices in life lead us to our circumstances.

Some people just always seem to have problems, one right after the other, and how they have handled them seems to say something about their inner strength.

Some take life blow by blow and come through each dilemma with confidence and courage, a little wiser and a little stonger.

Others decide that they are victims of their circumstances, regardless of what they may have done to cause them, so it seems like they have surrendered all control over their own destiny.

Then there are others, like Annie2, who have had their circumstances forced upon them, like someone else writing the script, and she truly had no control. But, like the first example, she still carries herself with dignity.

Here's to all you gals, that whatever may be happening in your lives, may you all remain strong in your journey.

I guess I'm going anon because I am a little embarassed about my pondering here. Am I over analyzing life? Do I sound corny?

You don't sound corny. We all have times where we analyze and ponder things. I also think Heidi carries herself with dignity. I don't know what I'd do without my husband for that long.

I don't like stress and don't take it very well and just do the best I can.

Ah yes, life is for sure like a soap opera. Yet there is something, as with a soap opera, that leaves you wanting more. Crazy.
