Ok,so it is not until Mid June LOL.. We seem to go every other year. I want to say this is my 14th trip there,but I think I have lost count.
This is my magical place. My husband is not as crazy about it as I am LOL..he calls it a working vacation
I just booked our reservations at the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista. We have never stayed in this area before, so wanted to try something different.We always stay offsite, as its much cheaper for us this way.We always book a hotel that gives you a free mini fridge and micowave. This saves us money by keeping food in the room, expecially for breakfast. Plus, Faith can only drink Soy milk, so is nice to keep that on hand for her.
We are leaving the day after the kids get done with School, which is June 15th. We will be driving. We already have 2 dvd players for the car, and plenty of movies for the kids. We will drive to see my parents first, in the Ft Lauderdale area. We will stay 2 nights with them, then off to Disney.
We have left over park hopper passes from a few yrs back. Faith is still free, since she is under 3, which is nice. We also bought some Universal tickets as well. For 85$ you get 7 days for both parks. They do expire, you have to use them. But, it works out cheaper then buying a 2 day 2 park ticket for Universal. We like both places, Universal and Disney.
I think we are set. I just need to keep saving all my doggie money, and we will be good to go
I am so excited and we still have 4 months to go.
Disney here we come...AGAIN

Excited for you, regardless of how many times you've been there! DH and I LOOOOOOVE Disney World. It's one of our magical places and can't wait to go back either this year or next year. We've never gone in June though. Too hot for us!!

Well June wouldnt be my first choice on when to go LOL.. My oldest does not like us to take him out of school anymore. He is in middle school and he tells me there is way too much work to make up. So, that leaves school vacation times. We went in June 2 yrs ago. It was hot, but livable.

We are going to try and take the kids in October when they have a week long break from school. My girls have been 2 times but Simon has not been yet. We have frequent flyer miles that will cover all but 3 plane tickets now I just need to work on finding a large enough hotel room that won't cost me a fortune. Do you have any suggestions?

Tammie-with such a large group, you might have to go the 2 room route. Or, a lot of people do rental houses. There are a bunch of rental houses in the Disney area, for as little as 99$ a night.

Id love to go in October. Unfortunately my kids school doesnt get a break then, so June it is

Tammy, we went in Oct in 2004 and it was perfect. The longest line we had to wait in was about 20-30 minutes long, not bad at all really. Of course we did use the fast passes for a few rides like Space Mountain and Mission Space (only the adults did those though). The weather was also wonderful, it was in the low-mid 80's the whole time.

We are going to Disney next year during spring break, i think. We are going with my sister and her family. I think we are going to rent a house. We have been planning to do this since 2003 when my sister's twins were born. We wanted to wait till they were at least 4 yrs old. I can not wait to go again. It sounds so cheesy, but it really is a magical place.

Hey, Jackie. Have you ever stayed in a condo? I found an awesome condo with 3 bedrooms and a clubhouse and gorgeous pool for $99 a night at www.vrbo.com. It was a brand new condo and is probably only 2 years old now. The name of the condo resort was Windsor Hills in Kissimmee.

We are going next year. I wanted to go in October for fall break. But, my boys, who are Star Wars fanatics, heard that they have Star Wars Weekends in June. So, we will probably go next year in June.

And, we went in August a few years ago, and it wasn't that bad. We just took afternoon breaks.
