The weekend was wonderful. The bed & breakfast was great. The room was huge and beautiful. The jacuzzi tub was awesome. We also had a big jacuzzi right outside our room but it was too cold for that one. We could walk out the door onto the deck and look out on the lake. The people that own the B&B were so nice. They called us their mystery guest cause we stayed to ourselves for most of the weekend. We rented movies cause we had a big flat screeh TV with DVR and VCR. I could not have asked for a better B-day present. I was so concerned about spending that much money but it was worth it. Just have someone else cooking breakfast for me was great. I think we may have to see about doing again for our anniversary but just for 1 night. It was so relaxing. We were only about 20 minutes from home so I didn't have to worry about something happening and not being able to get back quick enough. I have never been to a B&B before but I will definitely do it again. Ok I will quit going on and on. Thanks for reading.

That does sound like fun! You had a big flat-screen tv? When we stayed at the bed and breakfast in De Smet, SD, on our vacation last year, it was a pretty big room and only a 13" tv! LOL! Still, it had full cable, where we only have partial cable at home, so still a treat. We had access to a Jacuzzi, but chose not to mess with it.

Isn't it nice getting breakfast in the morning? We could order what we wanted for breakfast, from a list, so we all got different things. I had a ham and cheese omelet and fruit! Yummy. I think the kids got pancakes. Maybe Gary had an omelet, too.

Yes we had a big flat screen TV in our room but no cable. Just local channels. That is why we rented movies the second night we were there. I love the jaccuzzi tub that was in our room. I have arthiritis in my legs and it did wonders for them. We are thinking about maybe going back for our anniversary in June. It will be warm then so we can use the lake and the outside jacuzzi.

Latonya, I'm so glad you had a great time. DH & I desperately need to do something like that. We haven't had a weekend together in about 2 years and we haven't had a date in almost a year.
