Our house is basically torn up for a lot of work being done and we haven't had computer access at home. We connected the cable modem/router today to use the computers, but later on we have to disassemble everything because the ceilings are being scraped tomorrow, so who knows......

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know, the only time I can go online right now will be at work.

UGH When it's finished, which won't be for 3-6 more weeks. The in-process pics are nothing to see, really........this is soooooo slow-going. And it's beginning to drive me totally nuts. Can't really cook because the stuff I need to cook with is packed away in boxes that I cannot access now. Lots of dust, etc. everywhere, plastic sheeting everywhere. Sawhorses with trim, etc. being painted fill my living room.

We did purchase a counter height gathering table with slate inlays and 4 stools yesterday. I'm pretty excited about that. We started looking for living room furniture, and also furniture for the *office*.

I wish I was still physically able to do some of this stuff.....it would go quicker and be a LOT cheaper. LOL

Ugh, it sounds like we're living in similar arrangements. I HATE all the inconveniences of remodeling but I'm sooo excited to see how it all turns out.

Isn't furniture shopping fun? I love to pick stuff out when it's just me but DH and I may come to blows over some pieces before it's all said and done. I love the description of your table. Make sure you include pictures of that when everything is done. I've had fun playing around with this room planner, if you get some free time online.
