Valentine cards and or crafts for kids
DD wants to make a Valentine card and/or craft for each of her classmates. Thank goodness that is only 12 to make. And she wants them to ALL be different. Therein lies the problem. I have found several cute ideas already. Anybody got any cute ideas that they have done or seen?
She could cut out hearts of varying sizes out of felt and glue them to poster board and apply an adhesive magnet to the back for their fridge... They could all be different colors....twelve different one are hard as then you have kids maybe not liking the one they got, and wanting the one someone else got....and that could hurt your daughter's feelings.
Do you have decorative stamps? She can make each one different using different stamps.
Check out the Family Fun website. They have TONS of ideas for all holidays. I subscribe to their magazine as well. It's familyfun.com and I think you'll find lots of cute ideas there.
One of my DS's friends took miniature candy bars and made wrappers for each kid. The wrappers were decorated differently with stickers, stamps, etc. It was a cute idea and a big hit with all the kids. You can even use different colored paper on each candy bar. I believe the idea came from Family Fun. Good luck and let us all know what you do. I'm always looking for creative things for my boys.
well mine made theirs this year, but they are not very exciting. ALthough the kids had fun making them. I just got some construction paper that is about 4X6 in size. And hte kids glued foam hearts on them, and/or stamped them with hearts, flowers, bugs (ds wanted boy stuff on his),and butterflies. Each one is pretty different. Ds got into it and made little caterpillars with several small hearts together. and put a smiley face on them. They also used the hearts to make flowers, and people too.
