Well, it went through the three full time kiddos I have last week so I shouldn't be surprised that both my kids have it now. Randy woke us up at about 12:30 because he'd thrown up, then again at 2:30. I guess he threw up again this morning around 5:15 while I was in the shower. Now Robin just threw up. I've been waiting all weekend and week to get it. Two of the three kids last week gave it to their whole families. Every time I get the slightest queasy feeling I think, is this it? Oh, today should be fun. We have karate tonight, but the kids won't be going. I usually don't go if they don't but I think I'll need to get out of the house. *sigh* I just hope dh doesn't get it. He's such a baby when he's sick! lol

Good luck! Are you doing the whole disinfecting the house routine? Lysol or 1 pt bleach/1 pt water on a washcloth and wipe down all the door knobs, light switches, etc? And switch out the boy's toothbrushes for new ones.

You probably need the fresh air, too. And I have also found that anti-septic mouthwash works wonders. I didn't get sick at all last year. Still have to see about this year LOL. The season's not over yet!

Lisa, Lysol is my friend. Randy's still sleeping and I've told Robin he can't come downstairs (I don't want him to re-infect the daycare kiddos). I hope I make it through the day. I was up quite a bit with Randy and I'm TIRED!!!

Robin's doing much better. I guess he just needed to throw up a couple times and take a three hour nap. Randy's doing better, but I think had it a little worse. He's just kind of vegging out and playing video games. Both have eaten and kept stuff down. It's been just a 24 hour thing from what my daycare families have told me, with one dad only having it 12 hours. It could have been worse. Thanx for all the well wishes.

12 hours is about how long mine lasted. In the middle of the night, I was able to keep liquids down.

Robin's much better. He bounced back very quickly, even denying he was ever sick! lol Randy's doing okay. He's still weak and said his stomach felt better, but was still a little queasy. School's delayed this morning so he'll get to sleep in. If he's feeling bad I'll just keep him home. When I called him in yesterday the secretary said it was going around. I'm not sure how I feel this morning. I went to karate without the kids last night (not our normal night for class, but I wanted out of here for a while!) and our instructor worked us HARD!!! lol We have our seminar coming up in July and I guess he wants to get us ready. So I'm sore and tired, but I don't know if it's the bug or karate! I guess if I throw up later, I'll know! rofl
