This morning, I sent my dh a email that was a picture of a picture that I found online. I sent it to his yahoo email. He downloaded the picture and when he went to print it, this thing called a photo printing wizard popped up. Now, there are some photos of things I have looked at on the web, like jewelery, make up, skincare etc. But there are also pictures of things that I have no idea what they even are as well as some types of pictures that I am SURE I have never looked at before. How did these photos get on there and how in the world do I get them off of there? Good lord, I hope this hasn't happened everytime I sent a photo to someone! He only found it because he clicked to print it. I have Norton as well as webroot spy sweeper on my computer! How can I find these pictures and delete them? How can I prevent this in the future?
It says on there that you can use it to print images from your computer. Where would you find images that your computer would have saved? I have got to get this fixed.... I would die if someone saw some of the stuff that is supposed to be saved there!!!!
Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question better than I, but I would start with dumping your history and your cookies. Go into Internet options and delete your temporary files. I've seen photos on my computer of sites I've only visited, it's a weird thing. I also opened a blog one with that you can post comments on and my photo that it is my profile here and on MSN boards popped up. Scary.
I did that, and then I went back and checked and some of the pictures seem to be gone, but others are still there. There are some really weird things there too. I mean strange things, like submit order button of a web site I sometimes buy from. Nothing else, just the little red rectangle thing that says sumbit.... it is going to drive me nuts to figure out how to get them off there and better yet, how to keep my computer from storing them. Thanks for your help!!
