Has anyone ever dealt with a gopher? We've got one that is tearing up our yard. We got one of those sound thingies that are supposed to repel them, but it's not working.
TIA

Find it's hole and put some moth balls down it. We had one a few years ago and that worked for us.

I've never seen one. Are they as cute as the one in "Caddyshack"? LOL!

they are cute, but they will eat your whole vegetable/flower garden.

I could lend you my dogs...:) They would get rid of them for you in a minute. They're very useful to have around when it comes to critters!

I can relate, since we live in the same city! LOL
I have a funny story...We moved here about 6 years ago, and on our lawn we had these stakes that had spikes on the tip that you could adjust similar to a mouse trap. Well, I asked my hubby what they were and he said he wasn't familiar with those, so since they looked dangerous, and we had a two-year-old at the time, I threw them out.
It was about six months later that I realized it was to kill the millions of gophers that had torn up our lawn. LOL
It was seriously inhumane,it would launch and hit their face as they burrowed out, but at that point I was willing to try anything. Enchens, we tried the sound stakes but now we have a weiner dog and those buggers have never come back! He digs a big hole to get to them though!
