Urg...we have another snow day. They can't run the busses because the sidewalks and roads are still too slippery.

It is defintiely worse now that the sleet is melting some, and then refreezing. Two nights ago, poor dh got stuck in the middle of the street, just one street over from our house. He had to leave his truck and walk home. He came home yesterday afternoon, to get it out.

With 6-8 inches of snow coming this weekend, who knows when we will go back. The city has run out of salt, so they said they will only be able to clear the highways, and snow routes. If we have to wait until it melts, they may miss another week of school.

I never thought I would miss Chicago. But, at least when it snows there, you are not stuck in your home for weeks.

Oh well, this afternoon, when it warms up, we are going to the movies.

I wish you could send the snow this way. I want 6-8 inches the kids really want some snow to play in and heck so do Rich and I. I want to go sleding.

I saw on the weather channel how bad you were getting hit!
We had a 1/2 inch of snow over night and the has been the most in a while.
Our winter has been too nice. I am sure we will end up paying sooner or later.
Get all your goods before it hits again!

Kathy, I went to the store yesterday. It was a mad house. They were out of stuff too. And, of course, I had to take both boys since they aren't in school.

I saw how you guys are having such a mild winter. When I talked to my Grandmother, in New Jersey, she said all her spring bulbs were coming up! It is just crazy.

LOL Cat, spring...did you say spring? I thought I was moving away from this, when we moved from Chicago.

Josh told me this morning. "Mom, if I knew school was going to be out all week, I would have had you take us to Disneyworld. We would have had lots of fun, and it's warm there" LOL.
