I have bought quite a lot from QVC, jewelry, mostly. I am VERY impressed with it. I LOVE their EternaGold. Their jewelry is very well made and they stand behind what they sell.

I have seen some pretty jewelry items on HSN but have never ordered. The girl who was my physical therapist (when I was first diagnosed with arthritis) says that she has bought from both and doesn't recommend HSN. She said that the customer service people are snotty and she doesn't like their return policy.

My DS Shawn gets a kick out of watching QVC with me. He says that the hosts act like the callers are their best friends. LOL!

They have a wonderful return policy, and are always helpful and polite. I need to look at the EternaGold, I've never heard of it.

I haven't used HSN...so no experience here.

I don't recommend HSN either. The very few things I purchased there were sent back. Of course, it's been over 10 years since I bought anything there. As for QVC, I've shopped with them for around 12 years, and the quality of their jewelry has gone so far down I refuse to buy anything else from them, unless it's from a few specific designers. I DO have a pair of white gold, EternaGold hoops that are very nice, but most of their gold AND silver jewelry is so thin and light weight now, you can buy better stuff @ TJ Maxx. Mostly I buy makeup there now.

I buy mostly beauty items from QVC, but I have purchased a few jewelry pieces as well as sheets and a few kitchen items. Oh, I do love some of their cleaning items as well. I would agree that EternaGold is a very nice line. I have 3 bangle bracelets from them that look as good as the day I got them. You can't beat their return policy. I have only ordered three things from HSN and pretty much knew about the item before I even ordered it, so I was happy with my purchases.

Karen--I agree about the jewelry. The last 3 pieces I bougt were sent back. I do like their Ecclessi watches though. I have bought a lot of toys and kitchen items from QVC and been pleased.

Yes, I've always had good luck when ordering my makeup from QVC.

I did order some hangers from HSN, but only after my sister told me about them. They were not space saving, but very nice hangers. LOL

The Ecclissi watches are really good - and I've priced them in stores, they are cheaper on QVC. Michael Dawkins stuff is good quality. But you can get a lot of the same Michael Dawkins on eBay for 1/2 to 1/3 of the QVC price.

10 years ago QVC had some great prices for jewelry, especially silver jewelry. In recent years, the quality of the gold jewelry suffered because of gold prices increasing, and I suppose they were trying to keep their prices *low*, so the gold is much lighter. Now I find the same with silver jewelry there.

I've sent so much stuff back, I just refuse to buy most things there anymore.

Karen, I have to agree with you. I HAVE noticed that some of their ear wires are not as thick as they used to be. And, I too, have gotten some very nice pieces at TJ Maxx. I like EternaGold because it stays shiny.

I like QVC.I watched it today they had Marie Osmond on there. I like her dolls..I have a few of them...they are kinda high in price so I only get one every so often. I did get the TSV today!!!
I love QVC Norther Nights sheets...They are the best!!
