So who has been to Tahoe and what is the weather like there in Oct? Does anyone know?

I have never been... but my neighbors in arkansas had been a couple of times. they described it to us as heaven. LOL enjoy! i would love to visit. but then again, i love to travel anywhere.

We went to Tahoe when we were living in California. We went in March, and it was snowing. It is very beautiful. I have never been in October.

I think it is Melanie that goes there a lot. Hopefully, she will see this and post.

Tahoe can be beautiful in October. That area has good autumn leaf color and has that "crisp, cool" fall weather but there is the occasional early snowfall in late October. Not too common, though. I've been to Tahoe several times in summer and early fall but I'm sure Melanie can fill you in much better than I can. In fact, that may be where she is now. Anyone know when she's supposed to be home?

Actually, I am in Tahoe right now. Going back to reality tomorrow.

We aren't usually in Tahoe in October due to our boys' football schedule. The weather is still usually decent. Not too cold, but it certainly has the crisp, cool weather Tink mentioned. The nice part is it is not crowded since the summer activities are over and the winter fun has yet to start. If you want specifics, we have friends who live in the area full time and can certainly answer your questions.

Conni, we are off to Hawaii in 13 days!
