Spelling question
I'm working on a Halloween scrapbook page where I'd like the title to be "Carvin' Punkins". My question is, how do I properly spell/punctuate 'punkins'? Do I need an apostrophe somewhere? I just want it to be the right way of spelling it wrong. TIA!!
Just punkins. That's the correct incorrect spelling. The "n" is taking the place of both the "mp" (and we really only pronounce the M usually anyway) so no apostrophe is needed. Wanna update my scrapbooks for me? They're only about 7-8 years behind.
Okay, I couldn't think of a way that would look better, but I wanted to check with someone else. Thanks!!!
I agree. That is definitely the way I would not spell it correctly! LOL!
