OK Wish me Luck and Pray For Patience For Me
Today I have my son's 5th birthday party. There are at least 30 of his little friends coming, along with their siblings and at least one parent. This means over 40 kids! YIKES! At least it's not at the house ... Anyway, think good thoughts for me. Ame
Oh, that sounds a bit frightening... hope you make it through! Happy Birthday to your son!!
Frightening? My chest is tight just thinking about it.. How did it end up going?? Happy late B day to your son..
Good luck! You are a very brave woman!
This might help...LOL Holy smokes that's a lot of kids
Heidi!!!!! LOL!!!!!!
Good Luck! Happy Birthday!
ROFL, Heidi! Better you than me, Ame! You are a very, VERY brave woman. Let us know how it all went when you have the chance.
LOL Heidi, that's awesome!! Amecmom, your nuts! I hope all had fun, and I hope you have a big bottle of extra strength Tylenol handy for the headache you probably have.
Bellajoe if she uses Heidi's bottle she will not need yours until tomorrow!HA HA And I bet the party is over now but the other parents committed her to a white padded room so she is not available for 30-60 days after they do her EVAL!! Good luck Amecmom you are a very brave women!!!
Your son has thirty friends?? My just turned six year old has just a few. Thirty friends PLUS their sibs?? And only ONE parent helping? That's bad math, Ame!!!
So, how DID it go?
Ame, have you lost your mind???? Good luck and let us know if we need to call in the National Guard!
Hello, this is Ame's husband. Ame is now a resident of out local psych ward ..... No, just joking. Actually the party was great! I guess I wasn't clear ... There would be at least one parent there with each invited child, plus the child's siblings. I meant I had to provide food and chairs for all those parents as well. So crazy as to tell the parents to leave, I'm not I hired my three regular babysitters to help out with crafts and games. I had three different crafts and one game where I buried little dinosaurs in bins of sand and the kids had to "excavate" to find the dinos. That went over really well. I had to go to BJ's before the party to get the cake and buy the food. So, we were out the door a little after 9 and got home around 4. It took forever to set up and clean up. Luckily my friend came in to help. We really had a great time, although I am now exhausted! I didn't realize how heavy folding tables can be. I swear they weighed more taking them down than they did putting them up Heidi - that is tooo funnyyyy! I could use some - believe me. Ladies, thanks for the good thoughts and the laughs! Ame
