Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive December 2006: I did all my Christmas shopping...
...in one day! First time ever for that. I got up early, hit the streets, was gone until last night, and got everything I needed.
Good for you!! I can't even image doing it all in one day. I would be exhausted!
Wow!!! Good for you,I did most of mine last week-end.I just need to get some gift certificates(Tim Hortons Coffee)for unexpected people who might drop by.
DH and I are going to do the one day shopping thing (hopefully) tommorrow.Won't THAT be fun !! TEEHEE
We did 75% of our shopping on Monday night and I LOVED it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Yes, I got overwhelmed by the crowds and the pressure to find the "perfect" gift but to have all of that taken care of in such a short amount of time feels great. I usually do all of our Christmas shopping in bits and pieces of time in November and December but having my dh to banter ideas back and forth with and not to worry about "Did I get so-and-so anything yet?" was so nice. I'm glad to hear that you had such a good experience with it, Karen!
Cori, I absolutely HATED doing it all in one day. I will never do that again.
OMGosh, woman! You are crazy. I did mine in little trips when my DH could watch the kids. LOL As for wrapping, I did do it one one WHOLE day. LOL Happy Holidays!
I have just a few things to get, before next week. We aren't meeting up with my family, until the 1st weekend in January, so I have a little more time, for them.

Yikes, sorry to hear you hated it. I guess you didn't have much of a choice this year with your cruise. At least it's done now.
