I don't take to new technology easily (LOL), so I had put off getting a digital camera. I have my same little Kodak Pocket Instamatic that I have used to photograph everything for years and years; weddings, christenings, Scout events, parades etc. I happened to mention to DD that after Christmas, when all the sales start, I may buy a real simple digital. Well, the other night she gave me hers because she bought a new one. It is only two years old. She bought it when she was pregnant with DGD. She wanted a more advanced one. She cleared the memory card for me and gave it to me, with the case and everything. I wanted to pay her for it. In fact I tried to insist, so that she could put the money toward her new camera, but she wouldn't hear of it. She said, "You're my Mom. Besides, you give us free babysitting so that we can go out once in a while". BIG DEAL!! Doesn't she know that I LOVE doing that?? LOL!!

I am very grateful. She gave me quick tutorial on how to use it but I am sure that I will need my resident (DS's) geeks to show me again.
