A nice thing happened today...
Ds and dil are stationed at Camp Pendleton, they were out tonight at Subway getting their dinner, while they made to order, dil and grandson Bryce waited while Ds was paying for their order, he was having a bit of trouble swiping his card, since it was bent. An older couple was watching dil kiss my grandson and he was giggling. The older gentleman walked up to ds and said are you military? My son said yes sir! He replied please let me pay for your meal, my son said oh no sir you don't have to do that, the gentleman replied please let me we appreciate the military and all that you do. My son was so proud, I wish I could have been there to see the look on his face, dil was beaming when she called to tell me!! I wish that there was a way that I could thank that man!! It was a simple small gesture and so kind...
That's awesome!! Thanks for sharing such a nice story!!
God Bless that man, and God Bless your son!

that touched me, iI love it when I hear about the wonderful people we still have in the world today. And yes I know that it make your son feel good and proud to have someone acknowledge what he does.
Want an important message to send w/ such a small gesture.
I've got goosebumps. What a sweet gesture, and it makes you feel good to know that there are still good people. What a lovely gesture of respect and gratitude for the services of others to keep us free. Semper Fi!
