I was wondering...I have a camcorder from about 8 years ago. It uses small tapes but now my son has one that is even smaller. My ? is I was thinking of getting rid of mine so is there a way to convert the older tapes to the newer ones or something like that?

You can convert your older tapes to a regular VCR tape or DVD. My FIL has a program on his computer where he can get all his home videos off his older camera and burn them onto a DVD. He's already done quite a few.

We've put a bunch of ours onto VCR tapes, but haven't done any on DVD yet. Though I would like to.

Yes, there are lots of people that do it. We found someone at our friends church...i've been meaning to call him and get a price quote. I would look in the yellow pages and just start asking around.
