Extreme Makeover Home Edition - Dundee, WI
Tonight is the show, featuring the WI house! I can't wait. One of my co-workers is having 30 people over at her house for supper and the show. She is ordering a platter of Cousin's sub sandwiches. WI was so pretty that week they were here! Sarah and I think the color was the best it was going to be, that week! Western Sheboygan county/eastern Fond Du Lac county are both very pretty anyway. It's more rural and full of trees and hills.
Thanks for the reminder, Dawn! I wanted to see this one since it is near you. Both my parents are originally from Wisconsin. They moved before I was born, but they still talk about the beautiful, fall colors. This show should be especially fun for all of you to watch!:-)
Didn't you go down to the site? Or am I misremembering?
I'll be watching - after all, it's on right before Desperate Housewives! LOL
So, how many people do you think were watching this show all over the country and all crying their eyes out at the same time? I know I was.
Yeah, we went to the site, on the Sunday. They were all done demolishing the house and were readying the basement and foundation, when we were there. We went once, about 2 weeks after the house was built, to see the finished house. Sunday Pics
Oh Dawn - I watched tonight, too, and I was crying my eyes out! What a nice family! Such a sad thing about the Dad. Boy, we never know. Wasn't that house awesome, tho, when they were done? That bench caused me to lose it again, tho. How does the network find out about people in need? Karen, I had never watched Desperate Housewives (my DD is hooked, tho), but I watched the first episode. It was on late one night, and it looked pretty good. I watch America's Funniest Videos in that time slot on Sunday nights, tho. That show kills me. I was folding laundry on Shawn's bed tonight and DH was watching TV in our room. He thought I was crazy because he heard me laughing for an hour, then he peeked in and I was in tears.
I watched, and I thought of you, Dawn! Then, of course, I watched Desperate Housewives
It was pre-empted in our area for basketball!!! I'm so sad! I'll have to find out when the station will be airing it for those that missed it at its usual airtime.
Oh mercy- I cried and cried. I almost couldn't get through it. So happy for that family.
They were nominated by hundreds of friends and family, apparently. Family Settling into New Home If you go to the Extreme Makeover Site, they have a form you can fill out to nominate someone. Apply for a Makeover
