Crock Pot help....

Okay ladies.. We are having a potluck at work tomorrow and I am making a green bean cassarole (the one on the back of the french fried onion can) Is there a way for me to make it and then put it in the crock pot to keep it warm? I was wondering if I could make it and just put it in the crock pot instead of baking and possibly toast the french fried onions that go on top before putting them in the crock pot.

Do y'all think that would work?

I think that would make the french fried onions soggy. I think that the crunchy onions are the best part :) Maybe you could take the onions seperately and put them on once you get there?

Crock Pot Green Bean Casserole
2 (16 oz.) packages frozen green beans

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/3 C. milk

1 t. soy sauce

1 small can French Fried onions

Spray crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.

Boil green beans until separated and defrosted - about 3 minutes.

In a bowl, mix soup, milk and soy sauce until smooth. Add beans and 1/2 the onions. Pour into crockpot. Top with remaining onions.

Cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.

found this hope it helps
