I was just rudely woken up by my carbon manoxide detector, wish it would have waited till morning! LOL
Anyway I just wanted to remind everyone that it is very important to make sure yours is working properly! So many people are hospitalized or killed each year from Carbon Monoxide posioning!

We don't have a carbon monoxide monitor. We do get our furnace inspected EVERY year, though.

In Illinois, as of Jan 1, 2007 carbon monoxide detectors are the law in every residence.

Dawn, Just buy one or two at Walmart and plug it into the wall, this way you don't need to change batteries. We have one in the hall way by the kids rooms and one in our bedroom, which is on the other side of the house (that sounds like the house is huge, it's not )
