I Have To Get Shot Up
Well, it looks like I have to get shot up in order to get knocked up. I saw my fertility doctor today, and my results weren't great. My levels in my blood went up to 16 or 17. That was good, but my biopsy results read that I was at CD20 or CD21 and I was at CD25. Now he wants me to get a shot of progesterone in my butt once a day starting 2 days after I get my ovulation surge next cycle. He said that we can TTC and see what happens and if I get pregnant, then he will keep me on it until they can see that the baby is doing fine, and if I don't get pregnant then he will do another biopsy and we will see what those results say. I don't know if we are going to try or not. I think we will just play it safe and see what the next biopsy results say and if this is working, then we will try again. Poor Chris has to shoot me up once a day at night. I hate needles. We go in on Monday so they can train him how to do it right. My doctor was going to put me on Clomid, but since I don't have a problem getting pregnant, he wants to just try this first. If this doesn't work, then maybe he will. The things we have to go through!!!
Oh boy, I can relate to your last statement. It's all worth it in the end, though!! I think we'll be hearing some good baby news soon!
Rayanne, it is all worth it in the end like Marcia said. I took 2 shots of Heparin in my tummy everyday for 9 months while pregnant with Faith.I would have to say she is certainly worth all those shots
{{{Rayanne}}} I truly hope that this is the magic ticket for you and Chris. It will all be worth it in the end.
Good Luck! I hope that it works!
Thank you ladies.
Rayanne, I know you guys have gone through so many ups and downs so this must be rough as well. Gives a new meaning to "foreplay", huh? There's nothing like a needle to get you in the mood....ugh. There's going to be a day that you are going to post on here that you are 5 months preggers and going strong!! And, it was all because *you guys* were so strong! Good luck Rayanne and Chris!
