What's a good sewing machine???
That also does embroidery? My brother, jack of all trades, wants to buy one. He is interested in a really good one for a good price. I don't sew but I thought I'd throw it up to the sewing goddesses at MV. BTW, I think it's really sad that my brother can sew and I can't. Come to think of it, he can do a lot of things I haven't learned yet...hhhmmm...could it be because he doesn't have any children yet? LOL (He also makes custom made jewelry, can do almost any handyman work, and designs web pages...and, he does it all by teaching it to HIMSELF with his library books. How come I didn't get THOSE genes?) LOL Ok, I'm tired and reflecting too much. TIA
Bump
I don't know about embroidery, but both Singer and Brother are good brands. Your brother sounds like an interesting person!
I have a Wal-Mart Brother machine... However, if he wants a really GOOD quality machine he should look into the Bernina or the Viking Husquvarna (sp??) machines that are made for embroidery as well as sewing... HE will love them after he looks at them. They are all electronic and very nice. If I had a good excuse and had the money I would have one of those brands.
I plan on buying the Quantum Futura around tax time. They have it at JoAnne Fabrics online.
hhhhmmmm...good to know!! thanks!
