Waiting for dd to get home...
It's late and I want to go to bed. DD just called to say she's on her way home from the volleyball game, but she has to stop and get gas first... she's 16 and I just worry about her. I got her a debit card so she can pay at the pump, but I hate for her to be stopping to get gas at night, you know? *sigh* The best sound in the world is the door opening, and her saying, "hi mom!" Is anyone else still up tonight? I feel like I'm the only one in the world.
Bless your heart! I can only imagine how you feel. Natalie is 2 and we are already coming up with ways we can keep her in the house forever. I'm up but going to bed soon! ((hugs))
Nice to hear from you...thanks! Dh went to bed about an hour ago. The house is so quiet! (Except for my demon cat, who keeps jumping on my chair and scaring me to death)
I'm wide awake but it's only 8pm here on the West Coast. I don't have to wait up for any of my dks yet but I certainly am more understanding about my mother's worries when I came in after curfew when I was in high school. I hope your dd is home soon. {{{Janet}}}
It's about 10:15pm central time, here in WI. I'm still up. Was cleaning out the fridge, because it's garbage day tomorrow, setting my oven to clean, because I wanted to bake, but it smelled nasty in the kitchen and I wasn't in the mood for smoke alarms. Emily and I folded some towels, too. All this, after working today, too. I'm about ready for bed. I did find a missing library book, too, and I just might still zip down to the library and return it, because this time of night, there is no traffic and it will be a quick trip!
Is she home yet? I'm still up for a few minutes.
((((hugs)))) I hope she's home by now, and you are off in bed. It's 12:45 here in KS, so my butt should be in bed, too.
She got home soon after I last talked.
I know this feeling all to well since I have a 17 year old and a 14 year old who is normally with her unless she's coming from work. Hubby has no problem going to bed and going to sleep. I can't go to bed until they are home. Sometimes I even have them call when they are on their way home so I know the amount of time and know not to worry until it's been past the time it should take. Believe me if it is Im calling. Im going to have an ulser by the time these girls are grown and gone.
