Winter has been brutal in WI this year. We have had more below zero temperatures than I remember in a LONG time! We haven't had a snow day off from school yet and it's already February. We have had 3 days off from school because of brutally cold temperatures, though, and more indoor recess because of cold wind chills than we have had in the 15 years I've been a lunch hour supervisor. The kids are climbing the walls. I can't wait until it gets warmer out. Average temp should be around freezing (32F/0C) and we have been in the teens lately.

We have a fair amount of snow, but we've gotten most of it in 1-2 inch snowfalls. It is February and we haven't had a big snowstorm yet. All the big snowstorms have been south and east of us. Not sure what is up with that. Last year we had a humdinger of a snowstorm on February 26 and 27th. We definitely missed school with that one.

We are all looking forward to spring. Everyone is sick of the unending cold temperatures. It reminds me of winters when I was a kid. We've been quite spoiled for many years now, with milder winters.

Our weather has been pretty good. Had one cold spell in December. (relatively speaking of course) We could use some rain, though.

This has been one of the worst and most expensive winters in recent history. We are now looking forward to another storm on Monday. Ugh. Spring can't get here soon enough.

Yeah, Sarah and I were looking at the seed packets at Target today. I can't wait until it's warm enough to plant things.

Well, this weekend we got our rain. The prediction was for 6 inches of it but I haven't heard anything official yet. I do know the kids will be coming home from school with very muddy shoes!

Too early in WI. Frost hasn't left the ground yet. It's been too cold. We have to wait until May.
