Hpylori update sighs
Hi everyone. yes i have it again and just found out that one percent of the gastric by pass patience are prone to getting this within the first 14 months of the surgery sighs...lol aint i lucky NOT!!! am on my second regiment of meds called prevpak. I and my family are not looking forward to this. as there is alot of side effects to it including moodiness which seems to be one of the big ones for me lol hubby picked up my meds and said im not sure im coming home next weekend( he commutes on weekends) i just laffed and the kids ay yes u are were sharing this uumm moodiness from mom. lol then they threatned to send me to my sisters and aunts and anywhere anyone would take me...yeah its that bad. oh and lucky me it causes yeast infections too !! rolls eyes. Hol how is shawn doing with his. i hope he is doing well and dont have to take another dose. theres alot of diseases i have never heard of but this one ranks up there with the pits. between nausea cuz of the disease and the meds u take and diarrhea and the head aches which is worse tho i know but hard to remind ya self the end is better than the disease ... keep thinking that others im sure have it worse than i do ... the prevpak is 498 dollars ..so i even count my blessings i have the insurance to pay forit.
Yikes! HOpe you feel better soon!
((((Jewlz)))) I hope you're feeling better soon, and the side effects are minimal. Keep us updated.
Jewlz- I'm sorry to hear that you have it again. You thought you might. You are right, tho, you have to keep your mind on the cure while you're going through the agony. I guess the alternative can be stomach cancer, according to our doctor. That's interesting about gastric bypass patients. I didn't know that. I hope it all goes by fast for you, and you won't have to go through it again. (((HUGS))). Thanks for asking about Shawn. He is doing okay, so far. One week down. He said he still has pain in his stomach in the morning, until he eats. The meds haven't made him sick so far. He sees the gastroenterologist on Tuesday. I think they are going to "scope" him. The primary dr sent all the notes to the gastro dr. I know, isn't the cost of that medication awful? You are right. Thank goodness for insurance.
jewlz with love you rember that you have support and your kids love you more than you know even if they threaten to send you away they will call and check on you and see if you need anything you will get thru it and they will be there with you spirit or person thank god for insurance and dr that know what there doing
