What Stores Have You Seen Fake Crocs at?
I'm looking for crocs for my DD, but not wanting to spend the $30 real crocs cost, especially as winter is around the corner! Where have you seen the fake ones? And any idea how much they were? TIA!
I'm pretty sure I saw them at Payless, but I don't remember how much they cost.
I know I've seen them ALL OVER at Payless. They're everywhere! I'm sure they're much less than $30 there. Good luck!
Sorry, I meant that they are all over the Payless store.
We have a store here in RI and parts of CT called "Ocean State Job Lot". They had a bunch this summer. I bought a pair for the yard but they were too small for me so I gave them to DD. She wears them to work. She's loves the fact that they are washable. Did you try Zappos.com? They have the real thing, but they might be cheaper.
I saw some at Target this summer, not sure if they still have them or not. Winter shoes are in stores already! I want to say that they were $12 or so. Good Luck finding them.
They have them at our local Shoe Show. Several different brands for around 9.99 - 14.99. Actually, they are cuter than the real thing because they have designs in some of them.
Payless has some, Target is the cheapest, but they are no where near as comfy, matter of fact we ended up throwing them away because they were awful. I know that you have to spend 30 on the real thing, but I have had both as have all of my kids, of the 4 of us, in a heart beat the crocs win for durability and comfort. Because they are multisized, they do last for a couple of seasons.
Ooooh, Kaye, you're a Croc expert!! Please shed some light on these bizarre things!! What I've read says they are not supposed to TOUCH your foot ANYwhere but the bottom....HOW do these things stay ON your feet?? I watch people with an inch of space all around their foot and wonder how they're even walking! What is the secret?? And most of them don't even use the backstrap, they push it to the front! I am utterly baffled! You say they are multisized...doesn't that make them even MORE unlikely to fit since they would be 'big' to start with, and then factor in that they are SUPPOSED to be big...I'm just confused. Do your kids wear the beach/cayman summer ones, or do you have endeavor winter ones, too? Winter ones...that seems a contradiction! Rubber shoes are NOT warm!! And they are still backless! I truly don't get these shoes...
I don't get them either Kate, in fact I personally think they are ugly. JMO
EVERYwhere - including Winn Dixie! LOL
Well the sole of the shoe is molded...so it really forms to your foot, the most that it touches your foot is the arch top...like the bottom strap of a birk. Really they are wonderfully comfortable. I wear mine strap up, unless I am being active, like kayaking or hiking. You really can't run in these, i have tried. I will say as ugly as they are...and I think they are. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought them for yard shoes and I now wear them daily. I was having some issues with my arch, I no longer have foot pain. We wear the beach/caymen ones. I have thought about a pair of winter ones. I wear socks with mine if I am wearing pants though, so pretty comfy. They are great camping shoes because you can shower in them, but still walk to and from the restrooms without issues. Go try some on...if you can forget how they look, I promise you will like how they feel. But try the real ones, not the off brand.
