Talk about great customer service!!
This is written by my sister. She just moved into her house last October and just bought a new sofa from Sofa Express. The floor she is talking about is in her family room and was a Pergo type flooring. Here is the story:
We had a couch delivered from Sofa Express. I did the once over to check if it was okay...however, I failed to turn it over and see the nail sticking out of the leg. So our floor got all gouged and scratched up. We called Sofa Express customer service. They sent out a technician who fixed the leg and took pictures of the damage. Sofa Express sent out a subcontractor (Eric) to take a look at and fix the floor. Eric said he could patch it, but said this fix was not permanent. Since we had a whole box of the laminate in the basement, we went with plan B pull up the floor to the damage then replace the boards damaged and re-lay the floor.
Problem 1) the laminate was glued together so when it was popped up, the surface was either destroyed or not. Problem 2) The pieces that weren't destroyed had glue stuck to them, making it impossible to put it all back together Problem 3) We didn't have enough laminate in the boxes to do the entire ruined area Problem 4) Allegria flooring, our flooring, is impossible to find. Eric called all sorts of flooring places and Lowe's and Home Depot....nothing. I got on the internet, the only thing I found were some old posts about Allegria being good, affordable, laminate flooring sold at Cosco (well, not anymore is it sold there).
Blah, blah, blah, a few days later we get a call to schedule our new flooring to go it. So now we have Armstrong laminate with a 25 year warranty in practically the same color.
Point of the story...great customer service!!!! Not only do we love our couch and the chair we bought the same day, Sofa Express really took care of us.
I really believe that if a company has great customer service, everyone should know about it! So that is why i posted this here.
