We just bought a house that is 90% carpet, which is the complete opposite of what we have now.

I was thinking of buying the The Spot Bot from Bissel, just wondering if anyone has any experience with this carpet cleaner or could recommend another.

I would need something mostly for pet messes, I don't know why but my dog and cat both seem to throw-up a lot. Well I guess I know why my dog eats any toy that is left outside and my cat has long hair. Also DH is not great about cleaning Indy's paws when she comes in from outside and I'm going to try to limit the dogs roaming ability in the house but I know for certian that there will be times when she makes a mess.

I thought that it might be better to get a full sized carpet cleaner rather that the small one as I imagine I will have to try get the dog smell out of the whole carpet at least once a year anyway.

I love my spot bot... I use it to clean up pet and kid messes. I do borrow my sisters full size bissle cleaner about once a year for the cat smell. I really prefer the smaller one for the small messes. I feel like it is too hard to get the big one out everytime there is a mess to clean up but the small one is no big deal. JMHO.
