Please keep your fingers crossed it doesn't get rained out! She is so excited. DH was the same age when he went to his first game, so he is taking Syd on Sunday. They are bringing their gloves and everything. She's been saying that she is going to play for the Red Sox when she gets big. LOL She's been saying "The Yankess are gonna lose!" She thinks they are always playing the Yankees. LOL It's very cute and warms my heart to see the two of them. I'm glad DH is treating Syd just like he would his son. She's so excited! I'll keep you posted.

Cool! I still remember my dad taking me to see the Sox when I was a kid. I hope it doesn't rain!

I wish you lived closer, I have a kid sized red sox jersey that she could wear.

Awwww, I hope the weather holds out! I haven't been to a baseball game, since I was in college and my kids have never been! It's so expensive. (not that my kids are all that interested, though!)

*finger AND toes crossed*! LOL They just left in rainboots and raincoats, with a change of clothes and their gloves. My DH said they are going and riding the T,having a hot dog, no matter if they play or not. Today he is winning the good Daddy award. Syd is SO excited, that I really hope they play! DH said, if they don't, he'll get tickets and they'll try again. Ok, rain, please let up just a little!

Quick update: The game is on! It had 2 rain delays, but it finally started. Sydney is SCREAMING! She is flipping out with excitement and is yelling and standing and cheering. I'm shocked! DH sent me some photos on my phone. She wouldn't talk to me, she said she was "too wild!" I've never heard her scream like this. This should be interesting! I'm glad she's having fun. I'll be sure to post photos!
