for the first time, since the LONG WAIT incident. We had perfect service tonight! Ken, (not the waiter we had last time, but one who didn't bring us timely drinks on a different visit), was VERY attentive! We ordered an appetizer and he even asked us how things were, during the appetizer.

He also knew what I wanted, when I said the "big red drink!" LOL! I couldn't remember the name, and didn't know where the drink menu, was at that point. It's an alcoholic drink, but it's sooo good and I don't get too buzzed on it. (It's the Red Apple Sangria, by the way.)

So, we used our 2-free entree postcard tonight. I don't know if Ken knew anything about the previous incident, or if he knew we were the party involved, but he definitely took care of all our needs tonight, including drink refills!

(only one Red Apple Sangria, though. They're too expensive, for more than one! I drank Diet Pepsi, when that was gone.)

I had a Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Bowl and brought 2/3's of it home! LOL! It's too much food for me to eat at one sitting, especially with an appetizer before hand.

Also, we split a piece of the Key Lime Cheesecake, too. Yummy! Even with 4 of us eating it, we still didn't finish it!

Our food came in 15 minutes tonight!

Now, it would be great if you could send a note to Applebees and let them know how pleased you were with the improved service!

I always try to do that too. Instead of only writing a company to complain, I try to remember to send along positive notes as well.

Well, I really like Applebee's and we often went there on Friday nights, when I had to work late at the clinic. I was missing the routine.
