How sweet is this? Letter from old teacher
DS got a letter today from his preschool teacher that taught his 3 yr old class.
This is what it says:
Joey,
Oh my how fast the time has gone! It seems like just yesterday i was greeting you on your first day of 3 yr old preschool! And now you are headed to kindergarten.
I wanted to tell you how proud and excited I am for you to be beginning kindergarten. What a big event for you and your family. You might be a little nervous about this big change, but remember you have done this before and I have seen first hand how well you did coming to preschool for the first time and you can do it again!
You have a very special light about yourself and just let that shine bright and you will do fabulous! Know that I am thinking and believing in you!

I'm such a wuss, i started reading it to myself and got all emotional. I had to let dd read it to ds LOL
This teacher has got to be THE SWEETEST teacher ever. She really loves the kids and obviously does not forget about them once they leave her. I remember when she would talk about certain milestones to the parents, or when she spoke to the mom's at the mom's day tea, she got teary eyed. It was so sweet.
She is also the one who made a photo collage sort of thing on CD-Rom of each kid and put it to music and sent it to the kids after school was out.
We are so fortunate to have had her come into our lives. Ds was so excited to get a note from her.
I think i will write her a note to say thank you.
That's sweet.
You think YOUR a wuss... I got teary reading it and it isn't even my child!! Just too sweet, she is a special teacher that is for sure.
awwwwwwwww, I had a 6 grade teacher like that. Gosh it did my heart good to read that and know that they still make em like that.
I think this will help you son's transition more smooth.

good, i'm glad i'm not the only one that gets teary by stuff like that.
As soon as i saw who it was from i was all choked up!
At the part where it said "youve done this before and you did great and you can do it again" he goes "i'm going to preschool again?" LOL he sounded so confused.
