Well, we got a Dell notebook from my parents, but I think it's over 2 years old. We also had to buy a new battery for it, when we got it and he bought it somewhere online. So, I think we are safe.

I have a Dell sold between that time frame, how do I find out if it is covered? The article says 18% or so are covered in the recall, but doesn't specify!
