Cracked my son up - with laughter
We were talking about my parents, and I wanted to illustrate how good my parents were about holding their tongues and not criticizing (sp?). I told him of an event at the time he was born but still in the hospital (he was about 6 weeks premie and stayed in the hospital a week longer than I did). I related that my dad, my oldest son (age 6) and I were eating breakfast, when I looked over at my son and said "Honey, you don't do that at the table - go to your bedroom or the bathroom - that's a private thing." (you get the picture). At which point my son fell to the floor hysterical with laughter, red in the face, and laughed so hard he cried, and couldn't stand up for 5 minutes. The point of the story was that my dad looked at my son, looked at me, never said a word, and busily went back to eating his breakfast. But I think my son will never, ever forget this story.
LOL, I am laughing, too!
ROFL Ginny!
LOL!
Haha... if only you knew how many times we've told Shane the same thing. Boys and their obsessions with their parts!
