Any Precious Moments Collectors?
I was previously a collector and now have several figurines that I want to sell. (I'm also keeping several.) I just ordered the 2006 Secondary Market price guide, and have been researching dealers online. Completed listings on Ebay show very low prices for most of the figurines I've checked, so that doesn't seem like a good route to go. Anyone have any experience with selling their figurines? I have a few dealer names/#'s in other states that I will call, but I wanted to check here first. TIA
I have a few (3-5?) Precious Moments figurines. A good friend was into them and started my collection. LOL! The only one that has special meaning to me is the one we used as our wedding cake topper. It's safely packed away for now, as are the others.
I have probably 50, 20 of which I would like to get rid of. All of the ones I'm keeping were given to me by my DH, so they have special meaning to me. The others...I'm just over it. I have one tall curio cabinet that is filled with them!
I'm a collector, but I don't know anything about selling them... Trina...I used a precious moments wedding cake topper, also! I just love it!
I collect them for my god-daughter. She gets 1 for every christmas and every birthday. If any of you have the birthday train you want to get rid of from 5 on or holiday for the last 2 yrs let me know. Also if you have the July birthday one with the birth stone I would be willing to take that also. I usually buy mine from ebay because I can get them so cheaply.
I have 3. 2 bride/groom ones and the nurse bear one!
I know Tonya! Cheap on ebay, which is why I don't want to sell them there. I have several wedding-related onees also (that I'm keeping)...the bride/groom in the wedding car, groom carrying bride over the threshold, engagement where he's handing her the ring, anniversary for year 1 and 5, ring bear, flower girl, ...I have so many "love" ones! I also have the pregnant one and the new mom with the baby, which I love.
