I was invited to a Silpada jewelry party. A former co-worker whom I haven't seen in about ten years invited me. I guess she's a dealer. My DD went to one that a co-worker of hers had. She said that it is sterling silver jewelry, but very expensive, like most of that stuff at home parties. She said that she didn't want to be the only one not buying something, so she bought a bracelet for a friend's 40th birthday.
Their catalog is online, so I took a look. It's all designed in a Southwestern theme. Not my style, so I probably won't go.
I wondered if anyone else has bought/sold this item?

It's not all southwestern but it is all pretty expensive (they do have cheaper earrings, but they are still overpriced compared to a regular jewelry store).

I went to a party that my sister hosted. The jewlery was okay-not really my style either but I did find two necklaces that I did like after I tried them on. The women who sells the jewelery was not high pressure at all she kind of just sat back at let everyone try on what they wanted to. I probably wouldn't go to another one, but my sister who loves sterling silver swears by the jewlery and even likes it better than her Tiffany sterling silver.
