They are wanting to treat me for allergies first, my thyroid seems fine, I don't have enlarged lymph nodes, but I do have discharge down the back of my throat, if this doesn't work then I get a referal to see a ear,nose and throat specialist. I have allergy medicine to take to see if that works. I am not as miserable today, but I just don't feel like myself lately but I guess who does when they are feeling sick right? Thanks all for your concern...

I'm glad your thyroid is okay. I hope the allergy medicine works for you. Sometimes you don't even realize how bad you were feeling until you start feeling good again!

Trina, I'll keep the hepa air cleaner in mind, I hadn't thought of that, as far as a allergy specialist, I didn't think of that either, the military doc didn't mention that as a possibility.

Lisa, I have have trouble with allergies before but that was almost 25 years ago when I was 12-13, then I lived in southwestern pa, I guess everywhere you go the pollen counts are different. I thought I "grew" out of it!! I'm going to try this allergy med tomorrow morning, I didn't want to take it this late in the day because I was afraid it would keep me up!!
