Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to let all of you know that my ds Adam is officially a Marine. We drove out to San Diego from Illinois to see his graduation, he graduated June 30 from the MCRD San Diego. We are still out here doing alittle vacation. I am so proud of him!!! The first time I laid eyes on him my hands flew to my mouth and I bawled, they did their last run and came right in front of the crowd according to their platoons, and I lost it, he is a skinny little runt! He went from 175 to 130, he lost 14 of those pounds during the crucible which is the toughest event in boot camp that they do right before everything is all over. The change in him is unbelievable, I am so proud!!! I wanted to thank all who wrote to him and supported him, you are all wonderful!!!

Did he say if he recieved the letter from my dh?

kristy, adam doesn't know where he'll be stationed yet, he is going to go back home to assist his reqruiter in reqruiting duty for two weeks, then it's back out to camp pendleton for combat training for three weeks, then it's out to camp lejeune for his mos training, he is going to be a management training specialist, basically tmo!! We are really hoping he will be stationed at camp pendleton for their first duty station! I will ask about the letter from your dh, please tell him thank you for taking the time to write to adam... I really appreciate it and I know that adam did too....

Kim,, we are from ofallon, il about twenty minutes from st. louis. I love the uniforms too!!! Would you believe that my dil doesn't like the dress blues, which is probably the one your thinking of, she likes the charlie uniform instead. Well, all have a Happy Fourth!!! And stay safe!!
