Some friends of our family had a terrible thing happen to them. There daughter was married to this guy and they divorced. They had 2 children together I think they are 10 and 8 well the guy had children that were alot older in there twenties.From a previous marriage Friday night they had a big party the kids were with there Dad. It was a big get together. There was no ill in the air. I guess Saturday night This guys oldest son started beating the crap out of his girl friend. Hitting her in the head with a rock so the Dad pulls him off of her and the They go into the house to where the son gets a gun and shoots him Dad in the neck. severing the maid oderies (sp?). the Dad tries to get to the neighbors for help and bleeds to death before he can make it. Well the son confronts another man who had just hid the kids in a closet and told them not to come out no matter what. The son is yelling for the 2 kids to come out because he was going to kill them like there Dad. Well the neighbor tells him they took off on a 4 wheeler. The son shoots the neighbor in the shoulder. and takes off on a 4 wheeler to a friends house down the street. well friend wasn't home so he breaks into the house. The police come and follow the 4 wheeler trail to this house and they started banging on the door and the Son decides to shot himself in the head before police come in. To horrible. The young kids know there Dad was killed but they havn't told them that there older step brother is the one that killed him and that he is also dead. The kids were not suppose to be there but the Mom don't want them because of a new man a new baby and another on the way. The Grandma had an a chance to take them but said no because she had a grandchild already. (she shows favoritizm real bad). ITs just sad. I guess one of the Uncles has them for now.

Wow poor kids. Prayers to them and the whole family. I hope the mom steps up an helps her kids they need their mom right now. It makes me want to come get them and just hug and love them. SO SAD.....

Unbelievable...heartbreaking. Was he high? SOunds like there should have been some sort of indication that this guy was terrible. I can't imagine even have a .00000001th of a desire to kill anyone, much less children. So sad. how is the girlfriend?

The girl is fine from what we have heard. also the young man he shot in the shoulder as of right now they think he is going to loose that arm. From what we heard today for the girlfriend the older son was upset because his step brother and sister were taking up to much time of there Dad and he was out to kill them. The Dad and the girlfried where trying to protect the kids and she was beaten with the rock and the Dad shot then the young man had hid them and was later shot. its confusing to sad
