Hubby went back to work
Dh went to work today. His Doctor released him to go back. He is doing fairly good. he still has numbness in his left leg that with time will get better. He starts physical therapy Thursday he goes twice a week for 6 weeks and goes back to the Doctor and they will go from there. I was sad to see him go back. I so enjoyed him at home and bugging me. He wasnt ready to go back either. His assitant manager at work couldnt handle the job she was left with and the floor supervisor took over and it went to her head and she has made some enemys now and Dh has to go figure it all out. I figure there will be some people loosing there jobs. I told Dh it pretty bad that he can't rely on his assistant manager. I don't think I would want her to work under me if She isn't reliable. She called hubby a few times right after his surgery saying she was going to quite. and then calls and asks if he could come back early because she couldnt handle it. I feel sorry for him he has alot to deal with
Wow-He recovered quickly. They wouldn't let my DH go back until his physical therapy was complete.I'm so happy that he's doing well. It's sad that he can't depend on the people at work.I guess he knows what he has to do with her.Well,I hope everything is smooth sailing from here for you guys.I also enjoy being bugged at home.LOL
I hope your dh takes it as easy as possible at work and doesn't mess up his back by doing too much.
I'm glad he's recovering quickly, make sure he takes it easy!!
Shann, tell him not to be surprised if he feels more pain initially when he starts the P.T. But he should stick with it, in the long run, it will help him a lot. Glad to hear he's doing well enough to get back to work, but I hope he doesn't overdo it!
Shann, I'm sure he'll won't like it but make sure you keep calling him every one hour. He needs to go for a 5 min walk every hour to relax those back muscles and losens out the compression. God Bless!
He did pretty good his first day. He said he didn't do anything but catch up on all the mail and stuff that he missed like the new lottery machine he had to figure out how to use that. I called him alot as he did myself. I kept telling him to rest don't lift nothing. He can lift up to 25lbs but he hasn't yet. some of his employess wont let him and keep taps on him but you got the others that could care less. He goes Thursday to start physical therapy. I told him he may be sore and hurting alittle before his is finished.
I'm glad some of his employees are keeping an eye on him. Sometimes men are just like kids--don't know when to take it easy! I hope he has a great second day back.
