Hey all, this is Mike, Bubbels' SIL. I haven't posted in quite a bit and just wanted to say hello. I recently got medically discharged from the Army with 30% loss of my lung volume (from the fire many of u may remember) and 4 ruptured disks. I am doing ok though, so no worries :P

Amy and the (spawn of darkness) aka the kids are doing great. Adrian will start 2nd grade this year and Goosie will start pre-school. Seth is an adorable bundle of high energy trouble. We are back at home and trying to settle into civilian life. I'm not sure I'm going to like it.

Mike, welcome back. You have been missed. I am so very sorry about the medical issues that led to your discharge. But I am certainly glad that you have come through the fire and the back issues and are still with us and obviously in good spirits.

Give us civilians a chance, Mike. It will take some adjustment, I know, but be patient.

cicilian life duz take some getting use to but I think ull enjoy the kids more. like getting a bit more time with them.

Hey Mike!!! So glad to hear from you! I have been missing you all. You will do great in civilian life. It's an adjustment. My DH did 30 years. However, it will be great. No more deployments, no more horrors of war.
You are in our prayers as you get stronger and recover from all you've been through. You must have a VA disability, right? My DH has a 40% disability. He works for the post office. Take the exam and get on the roster. The pay and benefits are good.
Kiss your beautiful wife and babies for us. Keep posting.
